A campaign focusing on the significant achievements of Canadian women in science, technology, engineering and math, ‘Women in STEM’ was conceived as a means to educate museum visitors and inspire the next generation of young female scientists, in Canada and all over the world. To date, we have worked with Ingenium to create almost 70 posters featuring custom-illustrated portraits of each woman, with more posters in development.
The campaign has been featured in embassies internationally, and several posters have been included in the Canadian Encyclopedia. As an extension to the posters, we were also chosen to work on ‘Iron-willed: Women in STEM’, a travelling exhibit in circulation within Canada and the US until spring 2024.
