Used as part of the ‘Supply Line’ learning kit developed for educators to highlight and discuss First World War artifacts and their histories with students, these ‘Artifact Backgrounders’ were designed to present and organize information clearly, and to promote easy readability and scanning.
In addition to the backgrounders, a set of packing instructions were developed for the kit, to help educators and student re-pack the large cases with ease, and with minimal damage to the artifacts.
Work is currently in progress on the Second World War ‘Supply Line’ kit, which includes new backgrounders, and intro kit and lesson plans, thematic overviews, artifact labels, contextual images, and archival documents.
