ninesixteen — Project — CMH First Peoples Hall ninesixteen — Project — CMH First Peoples Hall

Designed to highlight and showcase the cultures, sacred objects, and stories centred on the history of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, the First Peoples Hall has been an important part of the Canadian Museum of History since its opening in 1989.

Since 2010, we have worked closely with the Museum team to update and upgrade elements throughout the Hall, including improvements to graphics, the development of a rack card system for visitor identification of artifacts, and a full reorganization of assets including coded floor plans.

“The quality of our graphics in the First Peoples Hall has been greatly enhanced by ninesixteen, and the addition of the rack card system is a big improvement for visitors and their ability to identify and understand the artifacts. nineSixteen understand both graphic design and the visitor experience very well, enabling them to consistently produce great work for the Museum.”
